KAI celebrated its 87th anniversary dancing, competing and eating pancakes.
On Saturday, the 2d of March, the “KAI-Olymp” stadium was full of students, good music and pancakes smell. Everything was ready to celebrate the 87th Anniversary of Kazan National Research Technical University n.a. A.N. Tupolev – KAI.
“Good morning, KAI! On behalf of the huge leadership team and with all my heart, I congratulate all of you on the 87th anniversary of our native KNRTU-KAI! The university continues the glorious traditions that our fathers and grandfathers laid. We proudly carry the great traditions of the great KAI. Dear youth, we are preparing to transfer the future of our university to your strong and creative hands. Happy Holidays! ” Albert Kharisovich saluted.
Kind words addressed to “the hero of the day” were from Deputy Head of the Federal Security Service of Tatarstan and a graduate of the KAI Oleg Nazarov, and also from production partners - Deputy General Director of NPO GIPO OJSC Anatoly Sheptalin, Deputy Director of Personnel of the S. P. Gorbunov, a branch of "Tupolev" PJSC Margarita Goryachova.
Activists of the institutes took part in Fun Runs. Places are as follows:
- 1st place - Institute for Automation and Electronic Instrumentation (IAEIE);
- 2nd place - Institute for Aviation, Land Transportation and Power Engineering (IALTPE);
- 3rd place - Technical College.
Traditionally the Office of Extracurricular Activities prepared the great entertainment with folk songs and dances. Student councils of institutes, faculties and colleges congratulated the university on their own with creative numbers. The Department of Physical Culture and Sports in conjunction with the "KAI Zilant" sports club warmed the guests of the holiday with various competitions: rope pulling, winter bowling, darts, lifting weights, basketball, shooting.
